DFend is a personal digital safety assistant we call Scout, that uses multi-agent AI and machine learning to monitor your digital accounts, detect security threats in near real-time, and offer personalized recommendations to keep you safe from cybercrime and identity theft. .

How do I sign up for DFend?

You can sign up for DFend by creating a new account using your phone number or email or by linking your Apple ID or Gmail account. Once registered, you'll authenticate your identity with a text OTP and set a PIN for added security. You can also add a biometric, such as Face ID.

What is the DFend ID and how does it work?

Your DFend ID is a unique identifier linked to your accounts (email, social media, etc.) across DFend's platform. This hybrid ID allows DFend to continuously monitor and protect your linked accounts against threats in real-time across Web2 and Web3 environments.

How do I link my digital accounts to DFend?

You can link your digital accounts (email, social media, etc.) by simply connecting them through the DFend app. This allows DFend to monitor account activity and notify you of any suspicious behavior.

Can DFend help protect my work accounts?

Yes, DFend works alongside corporate security tools, ensuring that your personal security doesn’t interfere with your work accounts. It provides real-time threat intelligence to security teams, without replacing existing corporate infrastructure.

What happens if DFend detects a threat to my accounts?

Not at this time. DFend plans to release a solution to safeguard you against phishing attacks in the future.

What should I do if I suspect my account has been compromised?

If you suspect your account has been compromised, immediately enable DFend's emergency 'Defend Mode' to lock down your accounts and protect your data. You will also receive alerts with the next steps to secure your accounts, including changing passwords and contacting support for assistance.

Can DFend monitor my financial accounts for fraud or suspicious activity?

We currently do not support financial account monitoring.

Is DFend available in my country?

DFend is available in many countries around the world. However, some features might be restricted based on local regulations. Check the app or our website for specific details about availability in your region.
